Founder/ Community Director
Stephanie Gou
Stephanie is a children's book translator, column writer, and passionate storyteller. She lives with her daughter, husband, and two guinea pigs in Hertfordshire.
She has 8 years of experience as a school governor, 10 years of journalism, and 20 years of business experience as a Chartered Accountant. ​
She is awarded a studentship by InterAct UK and studying toward a Ph.D. degree at the Storytelling Academy, Loughborough University.

Co-Founder/Operations Director
Bing Yu
Bing is a Chinese Teacher and the founder of community groups ( Bilingual Kids Village, Barnet Mums) She was accredited with the Teaching Chinese Certificate in Community School by Goldsmith’s University. Bing graduated from Aston University and worked in an FTSE 100 company where she acquired extensive business and organisational skills. With her community service experiences and passionations about charitable works and bilingual education, Bing joined LMBC as the co-founder in 2023 to launch our on-site events.

Holiday Club Leader/ Story club volunteers
Zheng Tang
Zheng is a Chinese Tutor and a mum of three based in Harpenden. She had 15 years experiences of teaching English/ Chinese in a primary school in China before moving to the UK. She tutored GCSE and A-Level students and all have achieved with A*.

Zheng enjoys writing, singing, painting, and drama. She is passionate about EYFS bilingual education, although she is beloved by her pupils of all age groups. She led and contributed to our holiday club in April 2023.

Story Club Consultant
Jue Gao
Jue is the founder of the Oxford Chinese Library, which provides guided reading services to bilingual children.

Before moving to Oxford, she had over 10 years of experience in bilingual reading. In 2015, she founded Mannreader Club.
​
Jue received two bachelor's degrees and two master's degrees: Law and Education.

Eve Sun
Eve has been working in the education field for more than 15 years, teaching students in the U.K., Mainland China and Hong Kong from kindergarten to university. She is currently teaching Chinese at KS2, 3&4 in a top private school in Oxford.

She holds a BEd from HongKong, PGDE from the University of Edinburgh and MSc in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition from Oxford.

Erica Wan
Erica works as the Head of the Chinese in a reputable independent girls' school in Buckinghamshire.
​
She has been working in the educational field for more than 10 years, teaching both primary and secondary schools in the U.K.
​
She is also committed to the compilation of Chinese textbooks and teacher training.
